Coil reads the market top-down. Each book publishes a ladder — how far down permission reaches:
- CASHNo index setup and no sector setup. Cash is the position.
- INDEXThe index itself is at a real entry — index exposure only.
- SECTORSector ETFs with live setups qualify; individual names still gated.
- NAMESIndex and sector both open — names in that sector qualify.
A level opens on its own structure, never on a single day’s move. Refusing names the layers above don’t support is the discipline.
Market state sits beside the rung — healthy, pulling back, or correcting. It is deliberately not a veto.
A veto would have blocked the better half of the tape — a down day inside an uptrend is the dip worth buying. Weakness predicts drawdown, so it prices size instead.
