ROADMAP

Shipped, building, coming

Coil in public: what already shipped, what's being built right now, and what's on the horizon. Dates are honest, plans can move, and nothing here is a promise of returns — ever.

Updated July 11, 2026

SHIPPED · 2026
June

coil.trade launches

The site goes live with the honesty rules baked in: every performance number next to its SPY benchmark, backtested labeled backtested, the risk section on the homepage.

June → July

Market-wide rewrite (v4)

From a single-sector system to the whole board: every S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, and Macro-book name scored for opportunity, entry timing, and hold strength — long-only, leaders at real support.

July

The Trading Bot goes live on Robinhood's agentic accounts

Coil runs inside your own AI agent and trades by rule through Robinhood's official agentic-trading MCP — dedicated account, hard safety spine, live trading OFF until you deliberately arm it.

July

Smarter risk on aged trends (v4.1)

A cold-validated trend-maturity channel: late-leg leaders keep their opportunity scores but get wider stops, gap-risk flags, and no leverage.

July

Forward-honesty telemetry starts measuring

An always-on pass measures the live score's forward predictive power. When the sample is statistically meaningful, we publish the measurement — ask any other scanner for theirs.

July 10

The learning library

28 plain-language articles on leverage, backtest honesty, survivorship bias, agentic trading, and the agent economy — plus honest comparisons that say when competitors are the better pick.

July 11

Per-stock score pages

A page for every scored name — the one-day-delayed Coil read (opportunity percentile, entry state, hold strength), refreshed from the daily publish.

July 11

Coil Scanner launches — with a free tier and a live demo

The hosted AI stock scanner: the full scored board in your browser each market morning ($12/mo), a free preview (top 3 per book, one day delayed), and a click-around demo of the real dashboard. First subscriber same day.

BUILDING NOW
In progress

Paper Mode, named and first-class

The live-OFF state gets a shadow ledger: simulated fills, P&L vs SPY, and a 30-day scoreboard your agent maintains — watch it earn your trust before it touches a dollar.

COMING
When Robinhood opens it

Crypto

Robinhood announced agentic crypto trading on July 10, 2026 — third-party AI agents trading digital assets 24/7, with U.S. rollout dates still to be announced. Coil is lining up a crypto book for when those accounts open: same discipline, same honesty rules, new tape. No date promised until Robinhood ships theirs.

When the sample is meaningful

Forward results, published

Monthly rollups of the live engine's trades versus SPY — winners and losers. The engine is weeks old; publishing a handful of trades as if it meant something isn't honesty, it's noise. The ledger is being kept from day one; the page ships when the numbers can carry their own weight.

Planned

Second broker: Alpaca

The same engine through Alpaca's MCP — "works with your broker" for people who aren't on Robinhood, still fully self-operated and local.

Planned

Score history in the Scanner

Per-name charts of how opportunity, entry, and hold scores evolved over weeks — watch a setup develop instead of reading a snapshot.

Planned

Scale-in entries

Laddering into a ready name at the scanner's support levels instead of a single fill — pending the same cold-validation gate every engine change passes.

Two products, one brain — both live today

Read the board each morning with the Scanner ($12/mo, free preview), or let your own AI agent trade it by rule with the Trading Bot ($29 one-time).

Roadmap items are plans, not promises, and can change or be dropped. Nothing on this page is investment advice or a guarantee of any outcome. All performance figures anywhere on this site are research backtests — point-in-time and survivorship-free, not live or client returns; past performance does not predict future results.
